This Cookie Policy explains how IDEaL uses cookies and similar technologies on its website, and the choices you have. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Your choices and consent
In line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the NDPC's General Application and Implementation Directive, we ask for your consent before anything that is not strictly necessary is used. When you first visit, a banner lets you choose Accept all, Essential only or Customise. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and nothing optional is switched on until you choose.
We store your choice in a cookie for 12 months, after which we ask again. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in Cookie Settings (also linked in the footer of every page). Withdrawing consent does not affect content that was loaded before you withdrew it.
3. Strictly necessary cookies and storage
These are needed for the website to work and for services you ask for, such as signing in or using your cart. They cannot be switched off in Cookie Settings. If you block them in your browser, parts of the website will not work.

4. Embedded media (with your consent)
Some pages show content hosted by other services: videos in our Gallery and podcast pages, podcast players and the map on our contact page. When this content loads, the provider receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies, under its own policy. We do not control these cookies.
This content therefore loads only if you allow embedded media, either for all pages (in the banner or Cookie Settings) or for a single item (using “Load this video” or similar). YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and Vimeo videos are requested without tracking.

5. What we do not use
We do not use analytics, advertising, social media tracking or profiling cookies, and we do not sell information about your visit. Our error monitoring (Sentry) does not use cookies. If we ever want to use optional cookies of another kind, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
As well as using Cookie Settings, you can control cookies in your browser. You can:
- Delete cookies and stored website data from your device
- Block all cookies, or only third-party cookies
- Ask your browser to tell you when a cookie is set
If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in, and features such as the cart will not work. Browser guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the cookies or storage we use change, post the new version on this page and change the “Last Updated” date. If we add a new kind of optional cookie, we will ask for your consent again.
