Nigeria Internship Convention 2027
About the convention What makes an internship valuable for the person learning, the organisation offering it and the wider community? The Nigeria Internship Convention 2027 will bring students, universities, employers, workers and members of the public together to discuss how practical learning can be better organised in Nigeria. The convention will examine what students need to learn before and during an internship, which courses and practical skills can help them prepare, and how to recognise a placement that offers meaningful supervision and feedback. It will also explore how workers can use internships and structured learning opportunities to develop new skills or move into new roles. Universities and other training institutions will be invited to discuss how internships and practical training can fit into a student’s programme, including opportunities during the middle years of study. Employers will be invited to consider what they can teach, what support interns need and how a well-designed internship can benefit their organisation.
