Project Description

A community-driven initiative to establish digital libraries in underserved areas, offering free access to e-books, digital skill training, and computers.

Detailed Description

Complete project overview and objectives

Understanding the scarcity of physical books and educational resources in many Nigerian communities, IDEaL is launching a bold new initiative to bridge the gap through community-based digital libraries.

These centers will offer:

📖 Access to thousands of e-books and educational content

🖥️ Computers and internet access for learning and research

🧠 Digital literacy, coding, and job-readiness training

🧒🏾 Youth-focused learning hubs and reading spaces

🌍 Why This Matters Many rural and underserved urban areas lack access to libraries and current textbooks. By creating digital library spaces, we give young people, adults, and educators the tools to read, learn, upskill, and thrive in today’s digital world.

🤝 How You Can Support This project welcomes:

💻 Donations of computers, tablets, and digital books

🏗️ Support for setting up local library centers

💵 Financial contributions to expand access and maintain operations

💡 Project Impact Goals Establish digital libraries in 10 communities by 2026

Equip 5,000+ learners with digital literacy skills

Improve access to books and educational resources in remote areas

Support inclusive, lifelong learning for all ages
